creepy crawly

Pyramid Peak and dawn patrol. They kinda go hand in hand during the summer. An area that looks like this:

means many lines to try and explore. And explore we did. Exploring means some walking around and just looking. And listening. Sometimes you see something that makes you wonder just what is that. That was the case on this morning. Was standing looking around and noticed a pile of brush. What in the world is that doing thinks me. Then I notice that all the ends are neatly cut, huh, somebody’s been trimming. And then you see it, the attempt at a line on a rock spine. Well, somebody dreamed it and thought it was possible, so why not take a look and try it. We looked at this cleave, just wide enough for handlebars, but steep. That will take some practice.

So, for now, abandon that lead in, and just start at the top. Take a swing down the rock.

Oh, it was fun. Pick & Place, completely.

Do a little climbing and sessioning of a step up and then coffee and conversation. What a great morning.

  1. With the title of the post, I was expecting you to find some kind of "creepy crawly" in a bush or under a rock.
