2 bikes in a box

Yes, 2 bikes fit in an xB – quite well with that addition of a custom made hanging strap. So, loaded up the bikes and made a trip northward along I-17 to that town at elevation, Flagstaff.



Saw the trail listed with pics on mtbr.com, they looked good, so we went to try ‘em out. Parked at Viet Spring TH, and started the ride up Flying Fish trail. Well, the ride up was good, but Flying Fish is definitely a down trail – lot’s ‘o’ jumps and log rolls. Looked like a hoot and worthy of another trip.

Made it to Aspen Corner on Snow Bowl Rd – then cut over to the Arizona Trail. Rode the trail through alternating aspen, pine, and prairie, in general climb with interspersed fast flowy downhill sections.



Into Sherwood Forest - heh, heh



Grins all around.



Everything looked well hydrated, ferns were green and the aspens - wow.
