cookies and sunshine

In many parts of the country, biking has turned to skiing, or at least riding with many layers and a terrain that awaits spring warmth [paxton]. Some, ride in the beauty of the mountains, but in frigid temps [gooneyriders]. In this area however, “cool” is defined by a different range on the thermometer and single digit numbers are non-existent.

Christmas and New Year’s also mean an extended holiday. One of the perks for working at a manufacturing company.

City of Phoenix has some of the best parks, and this ride took place in the Sonoran Mountain Park. Good mix of swoopy smooth trails with a couple of spurs to peaks, allowing views and opportunities for cookies. Good rides and great light. And some spectacular chocolate chip cookies - off the hook good. Just never forget to appreciate it, and acknowledge it.
